Sending Out the Invites: I’m Turning 25!

Oh my goodness. I can’t believe in a few short months I’ll be turning 25. Where in the heck did time go? I remember turning 15 and thinking 25 was old and now here I am, in my mid-twenties. Aging and birthdays are such strange things. As my dad says, “I’m in a 60 year old’s body but I don’t feel a day over 18.” I don’t feel like I’m old enough to be 25! But I’m still going to celebrate! I’m trying to figure out what my 25th birthday party will be but Basic Invite will be my go-to for super cute party invites!

Birthday Invites from Basic Invite!

So when I realized my birthday was coming up, I decided I wanted to plan an actual party of sorts or at least a gathering of friends to celebrate. Basic Invite and I worked together to create invitations online that might work. I started out by picking a few themed invites that I could customize. Every invite is completely customizeable with over 180 different colors! I loved choosing tons of color combos but ultimately I almost always go with something pink!

Because I had no idea what I really wanted in an invite or even a party (I mean, you can’t send surprise party invitations if you’re the one planning it), Basic Invite sent me custom samples of each invite I designed so I could see what it would look like before ordering a bunch. I really appreciate that convenience.

Basic Invite also offers and address capturing service that allows their customers to share a link on Facebook, Instagram, etc to request their friends and family’s addresses so they can store them in their Basic Invite account. Seriously, the only address I have is my childhood home address. I’ve often wondered how in the heck you collect so many addresses to send out invites but I guess this is how!

Planning Ahead for Everything

I was telling David what I wanted to do for my birthday and he was like “umm you have a few months to decide!” While that may be true, I like to plan pretty far in advance and having a party theme and a few cute invites I might like to send is the perfect way to plan ahead! Basic Invite also sends photo cards and I’ve been planning WAY far ahead for when David and I get engaged and I can send engagement announcements (hehe!)

Anyway, I’m so excited to be sharing this next year of life with you! When I finally figure out what I want to do for my birthday I’ll let you know! For now, I’m still debating my party theme and the appropriate invitation. Let me know what you think I should do for my birthday! Also, Basic Invite is offering 15% off with code 15FF51. Go take advantage of that!
